Miley Cyrus and Youth Service America Launch Global Grants for Young Volunteers
Stephen | Monday, November 30th, 2009 | No Comments »Entertainer Miley Cyrus has partnered with Youth Service America to create Get Ur Good On, a social network that brings together youth to support each other in their mission to do good in their communities. As part of the program, YSA will launch Get Ur Good On Grants to fund youth-led service initiatives on Global Youth Service Day, April 23-25, 2010.
Available to children and youth (ages 5 to 25) around the world, YSA’s Get Ur Good On Grants will award a hundred grants of $500 each to support projects that address critical community issues such as poverty, education, and environmental sustainability.
