Start-up nonprofits are eligible, but the application and awards process focuses on management track record and results, not future plans.
A total of $40,000 will be awarded to three organizations, with $25,000 going to the Gold Prize winner, $10,000 to the Silver Prize winner, and $5,000 to the Bronze Prize winner. Each winning organization will also receive a scholarship towards tuition at Social Enterprise Programs in Executive Education at Columbia Business School.
