Help Put Food On The Table This Holiday Season
Stephen | Saturday, November 28th, 2009 | No Comments »As you know, Measured Outcomes is dedicated to making our community a better place for everyone. This holiday season we are asking all of our friends and clients to help in this effort by donating to Breaking Barriers Community Services Center.
Breaking Barriers is a volunteer driven non-profit organization that works within our local communities and in conjunction with other local service organizations to provide supportive and educational services to those in need. By coordinating with other providers, we have the ability to fill the gaps in service that they don’t have the resources to provide. Our Staff and volunteers provide education services for people at risk for HIV infection, low- and moderate-income people through HIV testing services, outreach, and workshops. We also offer transportation services for clients to and from medical appointments, resource referrals, in home support services and housing referrals.
Holiday Food Baskets are here again!!!!
We need your help! Its that time of year again when we help to distribute holiday meals to people in need in our community. Every yaer Breaking Barriers gives out meals to around 300 families for Christmas and Thanksgiving. Last year was our biggest year yet and we anticipate this year will be just as big. So, we need any canned food you may have or if you can donate anything else that goes along with a holiday meal that would help out tremendously as we have to find ways to get this food to people with no funding to do so. If you are unable to donate food, please consider being a driver to deliver the food to those in need. We’ll even pay for your gas! You can also help by purchasing a meal using the button below, you can also buy any portion of the meal using the drop down menu. There are options as small as one dollar.
Please help by going to www.bbcsc.org and making a donation today.
