News For This Month: Cleaning
When we use toxic products especially in confined areas, the toxin is heightened so especially when we work in unventilated spaces with no windows, the level of cleaning chemicals in the air can be highly concentrated. If you hire cleanings for your home and they use toxic products then even if you are not directly dealing with the chemicals yourself, the residue that it leaves can still be harmful to your health.
The Beginner’s Guide to Products
The best way to choose sustainable and environmentally friendly cleaning products is to check if they are nontoxic, fragrance free, bio-based products that were made using ingredients from plants, trees, or animals. It must be a product that has been formulated for cold water. No VOCs or organic chemicals that have a high vapor pressure at ordinary room temperature. The cleaning product should also be biodegradable. Besides, non-toxic cleaners are perfectly safe around children. Before child safety locks were in place to keep toxins away from children but this is no longer necessary for non toxic products. There is no problem cleaning when the kids are around if you are using non toxic cleaners. Some small children crowd around their parents wanting to help while their mom scrubs the bathroom counters, and there is no problem here at all. Cleaners using harmful chemicals is already a thing of the past. But not requiring the use of chemicals is just one of the many benefits of no-chemical cleaning. You should already eliminate all of your cleaning products that contain toxic, polluting chemicals. These cleaners create packaging waste that is disposed of in our already overloaded landfills.
